Dual Diagnosis Group


Leader: David H. Ebaugh, MA, LCPC, CEAP, CCDC

 

Session Length: 90 minutes, ongoing, 6 month minimum

 

Description: Individuals who are addicted or abusing alcohol or drugs with another diagnosable disorder (e.g. Mood, Anxiety, or Personality Disorder).

 

Goal of Group: Address both disorders concurrently through group process and psychoeducation. Patient will maintain sobriety, learn concept of disease model of addiction, self-diagnosis, learn relapse prevention skills, and learn the value of support groups such as AA, NA, and Rational Recovery.

 

Fee: $65/session
