Learning to view a glass as half-full rather than
          half-empty, redefining problems as opportunities
for growth, or increasing one’s confidence
to view more options as viable might be the
new perspective that works in your situation.

Mary Lynne Ziegler is a clinical social worker who first began her career with the Carroll County Youth Service Bureau in 1976. She has had considerable training and experience in outpatient mental health, maintaining a private practice in Maryland and Pennsylvania since 1984. Her experience in individual, couples and family therapy has focused on a variety of mental health issues, some of which include mood disorders, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, pain management, domestic violence, marital and parenting conflicts and dementia-related diagnosis. In addition to outpatient settings she has worked in schools, adolescent residential programs and long term care and rehab facilities. She has founded and directed several non-profit organizations which address the needs of low-income families and provide counseling for pregnancy loss.
