Interests

Ms. Arora enjoys working with adults, families and couples in individual and group modalities. She is proficient in cognitive behavior therapy and brief psychotherapy techniques. Over the last 18 years, she has worked in hospitals, clinics and outpatient settings and has experience in helping individuals with depression, anxiety, stress and substance abuse issues. Helping couples in managing interpersonal adjustment and helping individuals with work adjustment issues are of particular interest to her.

Having grown up in India, Ms Arora has a special interest in cross-cultural issues. She has done research in this field and has a unique sensitivity to the multicultural society of today. She has presented workshops and done trainings at several area conferences and is available to do presentations and trainings on any of the above mentioned areas. She would also welcome participation in a stress management group she leads at New Perspectives.
