Learning to view a glass as half-full rather than
          half-empty, redefining problems as opportunities
for growth, or increasing one’s confidence
to view more options as viable might be the
new perspective that works in your situation.

Interests

I am a licensed psychologist with 15 years of experience providing clinical services. My practice is diverse offering a variety of general and specialty services.  I provide individual, couples, and group psychotherapy.

I am a trained mediator and divorce coach helping couples who are separating, divorcing, or post-divorce.  I am a member of the Howard County Collaborative Law Practice Group and the Maryland Collaborative Law Association.

In addition to being a mediator and divorce coach, I provide DUI evaluations, substance abuse evaluations, and other forensic assessments ( i.e. personal injury, worker’s compensation, criminal matters) when there is a mental health issue involved.

Another interest I have is in exercise psychology and wellness.  I work with individuals to meet their fitness goals.  The group I lead, called “Wellness Walkers”, is a psychoeducational group that focuses on strategies to help people stay motivated to exercise.  Part of the group time involves an actual exercise component (walking).
