About Me
As a psychotherapist for the past 24 years in both clinical outpatient settings and  private practice, I have never wavered from the belief that people possess the inner resources for growth and healing; but sometimes there are obstacles that get in the way of achieving those goals; I feel privileged as a therapist to be able to provide a safe, warm, respectful space for  people to do the work to remove those obstacles  that free them to become whatever they want to be; to answer the questions: Who am I? What do I want? What is my purpose?

We live in difficult times where feelings of depression, anxiety, alienation and loneliness are commonplace; more and more people find themselves talking to chatbots and all kinds of digital devices; using a solution-focused, strength-based approach, I help clients create a virtual box filled with tools that work to reduce anxiety and meet the special needs of a client; I work with clients to process the effects of past and present trauma; depression; relationship violence, and abuse; and because I believe that we are a product of mind, body and spirit, I use an individualized, holistic approach that combines both cognitive behavioral and solution-based therapies with mindfulness therapy, breath work, dream work, meditation and Emotional Freedom Techniques, a form of self-acupuncture; and humor.
