About Me
Hello ! My name is Elyse Greenwald; I am a clinical professional counselor and a certified career counselor. I enjoy helping people remove the obstacles that prevent them from achieving personal and occupational goals. I enjoy helping people change “I can't” statements into “I can” statements. I enjoy helping families strengthen their relationships with the people in their lives that are important to them. I enjoy helping people find their career match.

My experience and training over the years has focused on helping children, adolescents, and adults use their strengths, abilities an learned skills to happily and successfully navigate from one stage of their lives to another; In therapy, I help clients replace self-defeating behaviors with winning behaviors using both traditional and non-traditional therapy. Using cognitive behavior therapy along with meditation, guided imagery, yoga, hypnosis and meridian tapping (acupressure), I help people direct their awareness away from negative thoughts and pain toward a safe place in their mind where they can experience peace and contentment. In career counseling, I help people identify their occupational personality and match it up with work that is personally meaningful and fulfilling for them.
