About Me
I am a recent graduate of the Hood College counseling program and a Licensed Graduate Clinical Counselor working under the supervision of Jessica Letourneau, LCPC. I have clinical experience in a variety of settings and completed clinical hours in substance use settings, inpatient facilities, and at Mount Saint Mary’s University student counseling center. In addition to New Perspectives, I work with adolescents in a substance recovery program. I have experience working with clients in addiction recovery, anxiety, depression, stress-related issues, autism, psychosis, grief, and trauma. I have a passion for working with Military and First Responders and enjoy assisting clients in reaching all of their therapeutic goals. I take a trauma-informed approach with all clients. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist my clients in emotional regulation, healthy coping, and stress management/tolerance. When working with clients in substance recovery, I tend to use motivational interviewing and create an open space where clients are motivated to work. I am accepting new clients and am looking forward to being a part of the New Perspectives Team!
